Brittney (pronouns: She/Her) is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who brings extensive experience supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate anxiety, trauma, emotion and mood regulation, grief, empowerment, and interpersonal issues. Brittney specializes in therapy for children and adolescents, having received a Master’s degree from Wright State University in Counseling Exceptional Children. Brittney has also worked in various mental health settings: partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, community mental health; which cultivated a passion for supporting individuals and their families as they transition through points of crisis in their lives.
Throughout her ten years in the field, Brittney has supported clients using several different modalities: CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, ACT; as well as family therapy, couples work, parent coaching, and crisis management.
Brittney also hosts the Popcorn Psychology Podcast in which she and two other licensed therapists break down and analyze popular movies and characters from the perspectives of an individual, child, and a marriage and family therapist.
